Using Lyncis

Lyncis is an untethered jailbreak for iOS 7.1-7.1.2.

Optional instructions

1. Open Safari and go to tlsroot.litten.ca.
2. Press "Install Signed iOS Bundle (iOS 5)".
3. Press "Install" all the time iOS asks you.

Jailbreak process

1. Open Safari
2. Open the Lyncis website.
3. Click on "Jailbreak"

• If the device reboots or crashes unexpectedly not in a jailbroken state, re-run the jailbreak.

You should now have Cydia on your home screen.

Migrating to pangu7

It is extremely recommended that you follow this guide, even if Lyncis worked well.

Migration Process

1. Open Cydia, and if it asks for upgrades then do a complete upgrade.
2. Open Sources, Edit, then Add.
3. Type in http://lukezgd.github.io/repo, then Add Source.
4. Let it refresh sources.
5. Click on "LukeZGD's Repo"
7. Click on "System", then look for "Pangu7 Migrator".
8. Tap install, and confirm.
9. Let it install and reboot device.

• You will need to remove the migrator package after the reboot.

Removing the migrator package

1. Unlock the device, and open Cydia.
2. Go into the "Installed tab.
3. Tap on "Pangu7 Migrator", then remove.
4. DO NOT REMOVE THE PANGU7 UNTETHER PACKAGE.
5. When Cydia finishes, press "Return to Cydia".

You have now successfully migrated to the Pangu7 untether.
